My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

No one is perfect, but Kenzie is pretty close. Kenzie is a two year old terrier mix who found herself with the label long timer, meaning she had been at the shelter since November. After taking Kenzie to adoption offsites one weekend, Fota volunteers fell hopelessly in love with Kenzie's gentle nature and vivacious spirit. Being at the shelter for months did not dull Kenzie love for life. Kenzie is now a Fota foster, and everyday is an adventure. Kenzie has never met a person or dog she doesn't like. She greets you not by wagging her tail, but by shimmying and shaking her entire body. She can barely contain her excitement at making a new friend. Be warned though, Kenzie is a toyaholic. Kenzie can entertain herself for hours with a good rope toy. She is also quite the athlete. She loves to play fetch and can jump quite high to retrieve a ball from you, even though she is a compact 40 pounds. Kenzie currentlly lives in her foster home with several other dogs of all sizes and shapes. She does well with all of them. Her best friend is a 9 pound puppy, and they entertain each other for hours by playing tug of war. Kenzie is housetrained and crate trained. She has gorgeous caramel colored spots and the most beautiful green eyes you have ever see. If you are looking for a perfect addition to your family, Kenzie just might be the girl for you!
