Meet Taiga! This beautiful Siberian Husky girl is 60 lbs, about 2 years old (born Feb 2012), just above knee height, and is 100% personality. Taiga is looking for a home that has husky breed experience, because true to their nature, running is her biggest love.
Taiga is incredibly smart, she catches on quick to new situations (has been known to be an escape artist), knows how to sit, shake a paw, and stay, unless their is a cat or rabbit running by, then she may take you for a day run!
Taiga is looking for a very active home that can keep her keen mind busy with daily long leash walks or runs. She is okay with cats, but she does have a prey drive when they run. She is great with larger dogs, and loves to talk like a seal when her people come home. We are working on her recall, but once again, true to her breed, she maintains that saucy independence.
Taiga is a very sweet and affectionate girl and really wants a home to call her own. She has been gracious and polite in the house, and loves to curl up next to the fire, despite her beautiful thick coat. Taiga would do well in an obedience or agility course. She would love to show off her athletic abilities!
