Drew's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Drew's Story...
Drew is currently out on a foster to adopt trial; we hope that this turns out to be his forever home!

Drew is a very sweet and affectionate boy. He loves attention and will beg to sit in your lap. He also loves cuddling up to the other FIV cats.

He would make a great addition to any family willing to give him the time he deserves. He loves to watch out the window. Do you have a window Drew can call his own to watch the birds from?

Drew is FIV positive. Please take some time to learn about FIV, it is often misunderstood.

Come by Five Acres Animal Shelter and see him! We're closed on Mondays but are open weekdays 2-6 and weekends 12-6. You can call us at 636-949-9918.

There is no set adoption fee for FIV cats, but a donation when adopting would be greatly appreciated. All donations help, especially since our shelter is one of the few in the area that adopts out FIV and FELV cats instead of euthanizing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drew, a St. Charles Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in St. Charles, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in St. Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
