Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Stanley. He is an American Tan Rescue, and, much like the cup that bears his name, he is a prize. A grand prize. This 1-year-old is a terrier mix of sweet kisses and playfulness. He is house-trained, great with other dogs, doesn’t seem to mind cats, and adores children. He also love to give kisses – lots and lots of kisses.
His front left elbow was broken in his previous life and not properly treated. As such, Stanley has a limp which slows him down… not even a little bit. Most pronounced when he walks, the limp almost vanishes when he hits top speeds as he races with his friends in the yard. He is learning leash manners.
When he first arrived, Stanley was on total crate rest for a couple of weeks. As a result, he is not a huge crate fan. However, he will go into a crate when asked as long as you are willing to wait him out OR give him a treat. Our Stanley is highly food motivated and, as such, incredibly easy to train. He will do just about anything for 1/20 of a hotdog (our preferred training reward).
Stanley is neutered and up-to-date on all of his shots. His adoption fee is $200. Call Maria at 314-680-0188 if you would like to meet this beautiful pup.
