Misty's Story...
Do you ever need a second opinion when you are getting ready in the morning? Misty would like to help - her favorite thing is to watch her foster parents get ready for work! She even tries to get in the shower with them. Her second favorite place in the house is the kitchen - if the pantry door opens, Misty is THERE. Her third job when she isn't doing makeup and hair or guarding the pantry door is as the greeter. She's the welcome wagon lady when someone comes to visit. Misty is a delight to have around and she needs a home of her own to oversee desperately. She's a beautiful girl with a lustrous, medium length coat. She gets along great with other cats as well as dogs. Misty is Felv/Fiv negative, spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, parasite free, and has been examined by a vet. She has a sponsor for her adoption fee - so ask about that when you inquire. Her fee is reduced. To meet her, please email info@FORrescue.net. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Homewood Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
