Sue's Story...
Sue is the funniest girl! As you can tell from her pictures she is always smiling and having fun. She loves to play in the back yard but is also a FANTASTIC cuddle partner! Sue is around 4 years old and a lab/boxer mix. She is totally housebroken and loves her crate. Sue is hilarious with a good squeaky toy and ALWAYS making her foster family giggle! She is also doing a great job learning commands such as sit, lay, and come. Don't believe us? Watch her video and you can see how truly awesome this little girl is! We know that Sue is the missing link to someone's family. She is great with kids and would love to curl up on the floor with them :) Is she the missing link to your family? Apply at http://www.forrescue.net
She is currently fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but we adopt to many different places. She is spayed, heartworm negative, up to date on all age appropriate shots, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sue, a Homewood Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
