Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We all agreed that Lulu (sorry about the just rescued shelter photo..she's groomed and gorgeous now), a 1.5-year old Poodle/Yorkie mix should be a candidate for a ticket on transport to her forever home in Colorado. Lulu, while only weighing 10 lbs, loves the outdoors more than anything...except her favorite people. She is so excited when she knows it's walk time...we picture her being overjoyed with walking the Colorado trails and loving the many days of sunshine. Lulu is an active pup who thinks running and playing with her family and other gentle dogs is the greatest! Or you can find her lying quietly in a spot of sun with the most contented look on her sweet face. Lulu enjoys her favorite people (many of which are children) and lets them know that they are wonderful and so special to her. She engages with all people in such a positive and healthy way..but there's no question that her family gets that tail wagging with excitement. Lulu also happily plays with all her dog friends in a positive and engaging way. At the end of the day...it's all about a warm lap and lots of cuddling and love. Lulu is a world class lap dog and snuggler . She becomes very attached to her favorite people and thrives on spending fun times together. Lulu is such a well-behaved and respectful dog in her home...it's wonderful how low-maintenance she is...more time to spend having fun. She is housebroken in her foster home (but please understand that rehoming is difficult and Lulu needs to be shown where the bathroom is) and is great with sharing the bed and sleeping peacefully all through the night. Lulu thinks that hugs and kisses are the greatest things ever...even better than a great treat. She also enjoys the car and would always be game for riding shotgun or can even fit perfectly under the seat in a plane to accompany her family on great adventures. Lulu is a non-shedding girl with cotton-soft hair and will therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep her silky hair healthy and matt-free. Lulu will be arriving on transport in Denver on 3/8. Applications are currently being accepted for this wonderful and very loving family companion.
