Sebastian's Info...

I am not good with kids.

Sebastian's Story...
I am a shy little guy looking for someone to cuddle with. Sometimes when I can get scared or overwhelmed, being in a lap makes me feel safe. I would do best in a quiet home without small children. Children tend to overwhelm and scare me. I will need an owner who will help me navigate this big world and show me the ropes. I already know some basic commands, and I am eager to learn more. If you have other dogs, please bring them to meet me so we can make sure we will be good friends. Come cuddle with me today. I just may be the little man for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sebastian, a Harrisonburg Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
