Leah's Story...
Leah is the four year old energizer dog. This beautiful girl is able scale a fence with a single bound so a home with acreage will be the best fit for Leah. She must not be a dog that is left in a back yard. She is very high energy and needs lots and lots of exercise to keep her stimulated both physically and mentally. Leah will need proper introductions to new dogs to insure harmony among the troops. With that being said, Leah is a sweet sweet girl and with some obedience training and consistency she will make someone a great companion. Leah listens well to her handlers, and will be easy to train. She is the perfect size not too big or too small. This girl is a head turner with her striking appearance.

If you want to apply for Leah click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leah, a Meridian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
