Hello, my name is Missy. I am a domestic short-haired tabby, about 6 or 7 years old. I had a bit of a hiccup earlier in life and found myself stranded and wandering near an apartment complex. Thankfully a sweet lady with AARF was kind enough to look after me while I search for a peaceful, loving home.

My foster mom says I am very sweet, but not overly affectionate.  I am typically not fond of other animals, although I find the birds on the other side of the window fascinating. Occasionally I decide to sit on my foster’s lap, and I certainly enjoy sleeping on top of blankets on her bed.  And since we’re discussing preferences, I think cat scratchers are marvelous inventions; especially when they let me avoid the nail trimmers!

Overall I am a mature lady with an excellent understanding of restroom etiquette and a tendency to purr quite a lot.  I am not much of a talker myself, although I happen to be a very good listener. If I had one wish, it would be for a special home with a warm bed and a loving family to call my own. I am so grateful that AARF is working so hard to make this dream a reality.

If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this site -
http://www.animalalliesrescue.org/adoption-application and choose me - Missy! My adoption fee is $100 and includes all of my routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, FelV/FIV testing (kitties), deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, boarding and transportation costs if applicable, along with an offer for 30 days of free 24PetWatch pet insurance!
