Thomas's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Thomas's Story...
Thomas is such a cutie. He is a 2 year old Lhasa Apso/Shih Tsu mix. He weighs about 12 pounds, is potty trained, chipped, neutered and current on vaccinations.

Thomas is very easy going, great with all dogs; he especially likes to play with small dogs. He loves kids and is very gentle with them. He is fine in a crate for short periods of time though he would rather be with his humans as much as possible. He is cuddly and also likes to lay on the floor near you.

Thomas will need grooming a few times a year, walks and play time. He is very easy care for and to love. He has lots of love to give; everyone who meets this sweetie loves him. He is a dream walking on a leash; doesn't pull at all.

It is difficult to believe this little guy was found as a stray, hungry, scared with his coat badly matted. He is safe now in a foster home until his loving, forever person or family comes for him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thomas, a Scottsdale Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
