(ID #122) Hi, my name is Cyrus.
I am a two year old American Bulldog/Pit mix. My owner brought me to the shelter because he was moving and he had no place for me. I admit that I am a hi-energy dog. I love play time so I could use a large yard to run and roam to burn off my excess energy. I need some training to help my socialization and improve my leash walking. I LOVE balls. You might say I am obsessed with them. I need to learn the command "drop it".
At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs met, like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love. I have plenty of love to give. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me?? Come and have a meet-n-greet with me.
I am a young guy at heart and I weigh around 65 pounds. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and neutered. I received a set of preventative shots, have been wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. I have also been microchipped.
I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. You will receive a Rebate Certificate that can be used towards payment of a training course with the trainer of your choice. Sheltered Paws will rebate back to you a dollar value up to but not to exceed $100.00.
