Cassidy's Story...
Meet Cassidy! Cassidy is a two year old kitty looking for love. Cassidy was surrendered by her owners when they could no longer care for her. Cassidy is the sweetest cat ever. She LOVES children and she does well around other cats. Cassidy is pretty mellow at our shelter, but we think it's because she doesn't like waiting around for a home. She wants so badly to get back to a normal life, and she deserves it. Cassidy loves being held. She enjoys attention and loves being pet. Cassidy is the perfect pet for any home, especially with children to play and cuddle with.

We Spay/Neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies, Three Distemper vaccines, De-worming, De-fleaing, Microchipping, and Testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday — Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-3. We’re also happy to set up weekend appointments.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassidy, a Warwick Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
