Prancer got his name for a reason. He is just a prancing and dancing happy kind of guy. He's a very well-balanced pup with high self esteem. Prancer was rescued from a dismal high-kill Dallas shelter but seems to have left any negative feelings behind. He's got a great and positive attitude toward life and all living creatures. Prancer derives so much joy from running and playing with kids and other respectful dogs. His spirit seems to soar when he's around the energy and fun that comes with children. He's also been working on his housetraining and is doing so well he could just about be called perfect. Prancer is a very beautiful and kind Maltese/Terrier mix but doesn't carry any of the traits that give small dogs a bad name....he isn't yappy, needy or anxious, but rather an amazing spirit to spend time with. He would love nothing more than to be a companion that accompanies his family everywhere since he's great in the car, pleasant to everyone he meets and loves to be out and about. This kind of interaction will create a very well-socialized pup...and that creates a happy family. Prancer is just about 4 years old with very puppy-like energy and a happiness with life that is always obvious. He would be overjoyed to use his energy on long walks...so much to see and so fun to be with his family. Just name the activity and Prancer is on board with his wagging tail ...a wag that runs up his body and ends up in a big smile. Prancer is 7 lbs of pure love and devotion. Prancer is a non-shedding guy and will therefore require periodic grooming to keep his coat gorgeous and matt-free.
Prancer is being fostered in Denver. Applications are being accepted and Meet and Greets are being set up for this exceptional family companion.
