Saffron is a 2 year old gal that was rescued from an elderly family in S. Central that could no longer care for them. They came to the spay/neuter mobile clinic that Bark Avenue Foundation when they were having a spay day. As much as they loved these dogs they were severely neglected. Never did they see a groomer. They were horribly matted, filthy and their nails were painfully long. Saffron is a bit shy, but with some encouragement and love she will come around. Sasi and Saffron were two dogs that lived in a backyard and have little clue about the outside world. Leash training will be needed. She is non shedding and will require grooming. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Also included is a free health check by our licensed veterinarian a lifetime membership to www.mypettrainer.com, and www.lostmypet.com. The dogs that come out of our program are very well socialized when they leave, both with people, and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. Bark n' Bitches asks for your support by taking advantage of the generous 20% one time shopping discount once you adopt. An adoption fee, application, contract are required.
