Hi there,

My name is Dudley and I am a two year old little Schnauzer/Dachshund mix boy who weighs about 12 lbs. I was found lost and all alone in Dayton, Ohio and taken to a local shelter.

I had no idea how I was going to survive there....it was so noisy and there were so many others that needed help just like me. A rescue angel from Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati happened to be there to pull another dog and they asked her at the last minute if she could take me too....there was no doubt in her mind when she said "Yes"!.

I was transported down to Cincinnati and taken to a doggie doctor for a checkup. I had to be neutered and was a little underweight; but other than that...just fine. I am now u-t-d on everything and even had a grooming at the doggie spa....never knew they had such a thing! You should feel how soft my fur is now that all the mats and dirt are gone....my foster mom thinks I am as soft as a baby lamb!

I am in a foster home now with six other Schnauzers. I have already mastered the doggie doors but only go out to go potty. I have had enough of the cold for a while!

I am quiet and shy and really don't know toys yet. They look like fun; but my favorite thing to do is sit on my foster mom's lap while she reads or watches TV.
