Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cleo has been with us for a long time and we're hoping that she can find her forever home in the new year.
She would prefer to be the only animal, but if you have a male cat who can keep his distance, then Cleo would be OK. If you have a lizard, however, she'll make friends!
A cat friendly mellow older dog who understands boundaries would be OK with Cleo; she needs to feel safe for her personal comfort level. She would be more comfortable with the dog about 10 feet away from her. And your home should have enough space so that Cleo can acclimate if there is another animal.
She's super affectionate and just wants to keep you company while you read, work at the computer (total lap kitty), or watch TV AND she'll sleep on the bed, of course. (Older children OK.)
We require that you fill out our Companion Animal Guardian History, provide a vet reference and have a home visit. We provide you with a photo copy of Cleo's medical record. Adoption fee is $150 and includes, but is not limited to, spay, vaccinations, FeLV/FIV blood test, worming and microchip.
