If you're looking for "perfect", meet Jewel! Jewel is that all-around great girl who loves people and gets along great with other dogs. She's affectionate without being slobbery, friendly without being jumpy, and playful without being hyper. She'd be great with any family, young or old, with other dogs or where she'll get all the attention to herself. Jewel is one of the most well-behaved girls we've seen, which makes it all the more baffling how someone could just let her go. She was a stray brought in by animal control to a high-kill shelter in Arkansas, and never claimed. Days later, she gave birth to 10 babies all of whom she lovingly nurtured and cared for until they were big enough to be on their own. She has a calm, easy-going nature, she walks well on the leash and she keeps her kennel spotless. Jewel is about 2 years old, she weighs about 50 pounds and she's very healthy.
