Maybeline's Story...
Hi my name is Maybelline. I am a happy very loyal 8-month-old pup who loves everyone, cats, other dogs and especially humans. I would especially like to be the center of attention with one person so we could do stuff together like taking long walks. Squeaky toys are my favorite things to play with and would love my person to have tons of them. I have been spayed, had all my shots, heartworm negative and I am housebroke. My foster mom thinks I am a plot hound mix. I am looking forward to finding my forever person who I hope will also buy lots of toys. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maybeline, a Portland Plott Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound for sale in Portland, or seeking a Plott Hound dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound breeders who help with Plott Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
