Frankie's Story...
This little guy wandered up to someone’s farm during the rainstorm Friday, February 7th, just east of Davis. His foster mom named him Frankie. The vet thinks he’s about one year old, and we think he might be a Chihuahua/Beagle mix. He’s sweet, friendly, great with cats and kids, and he loves to heard sheep. He's very well behaved, loves to snuggle and doesn't bark, but he sometimes howls a little if he wants to come inside or go outside. He’s also obedient when it comes to taking a bath. He's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Could Frankie be the newest member of your family? Come meet him and find out!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Woodland Chihuahua/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Beagle for sale in Woodland, or seeking a Chihuahua/Beagle dog from a breeder in Woodland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Beagle breeders who help with Chihuahua/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodland paves the way for another one to be saved.
