Agnes's Story...
Just a little bundle of love looking for a family of my own. Yep I am still an infant, I was born Nov 21st. My momma is a Golden Retriever mix, I guess dad must have been a German Shepherd or a Rottweiler. Being such a youngster I can be a little shy and scared at first but you'll see my little tail wagging in no time. Yep it is true, I will need a lot of training and socializing so that I can grow up to be the perfect family pet. 9 weeks old-10lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; current shots, reduced cost spay and $25 spay rebate, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area only),1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Agnes, a Portland Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
