My story

Meet Willa! Willa is a 3 year young, 12 lbs Dachshund mix. We first met Willa 2 years ago at the Downey Animal Shelter. She was adopted shortly thereafter by a family, but unfortunately they fell on hard times recently and Willa came back to our rescue.

Willa was pretty sad and confused at first, but now she is back to her playful, happy-go-lucky self! She loves playing with her foster siblings and running around the yard. She can be a bit cautious of strangers at first, but once she warms up and feels comfortable she is an absolute joy. Even though she is a petite pup, she makes an excellent walking or jogging companion. Willa is crate trained and house trained and pretty much the perfect little pup!
