My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB: ~ 4/15/12
Breed/Color: DLH/ Gray & White
Feline Purrsonality: Lovebug/ Mellow

Braveheart is easily one of the most beautiful cats in Minnesota. While sporting the deep, rich, long, dark, gray coat of a Persian cat, he has the regal profile and face of a lion, without the smushed-in nose of the Persian. Braveheart has striking copper-colored eyes, with the intriguing slant of the Siamese, which gives his face the chiseled look of a “manly, man!” He has a little white goatee and big white whiskers. His tail is long and fluffy. He has four beautiful white paws, a white soul patch and a white tummy patch. His nose is dark gray.

Braveheart was someone’s beloved pet; he enjoys being with his foster family, enjoys being groomed and is content to explore his surrounding, then settle down for a visit. Braveheart would do fine in a one cat household or a household with other pets. He is non-reactive to other cats and dogs: with a proper, slow introduction, he would fit in easily with a multi-cat or cat/dog household. He is very affectionate and enjoys greeting his people and chatting a bit about his day. Braveheart loves to sleep and/or nap and rest next to his foster people; he purrs softly with a bird-like trill. He is a very happy, content and mellow cat, who also likes to hang out on the window sill perch and watch the world go by.

Braveheart is a well-developed kitty, with a strong bone structure and good muscle tone. Despite his larger size, he is very graceful and quiet-footed. He uses his litter box perfectly and enjoys his cat tower and scratching post. He has never scratched the furniture. He truly enjoys playtime, especially playing with his feather toys, which he carries in his mouth and presents to his foster people.

Braveheart’s long coat is easy to care for and has very little-to-no cat dander. He loves to be petted and loves to have his tummy rubbed. Braveheart likes to explore and hangout with his foster people and he is more interested in his people than his food. Braveheart’s foster family describe him as “truly a perfect family cat!” Could you be the lucky person(s) to add him to your family?

Adoption Fees: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated (as age appropriate), tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV, given flea/tick & heartworm preventative, & fecal tested (dewormed if needed) before being adopted out. Braveheart's adoption fee is $125 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
