Jack's Story...
Hi, my name is Jack. I am an 8 year old male, brindle Boxer. I came in with my friend Rose. We are very close and I would love nothing more than to be adopted with her. I still have plenty of energy and will need daily exercise to keep me happy and healthy. Some of the Sehome Paws students came out to spend an hour with Rose and I. I loved all of them and showed my gentle spirit with them. I would do well with young people such as the high school students that know to be gentle with me. I also wouldn't mind living with a confident cat or a mellow canine companion that won't play too rough. I would really appreciate a nice warm bed inside to nap on and someone who will be dedicated to my health and happiness for the rest of my life. If you have room in your heart for a gentle sweetheart, please head up to WHS so you can spend some time with me. If you are over 55, please ask about the Young At Heart adoption special. I hope to meet you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Bellingham Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
