QUICK UPDATE - 25 NOVEMBER 2014: Macie didn't allow the cold spell to bother her, she simply cuddled up with a friend! She continues to be a very pleasant house guest.
10 NOVEMBER 2014: Macie continues to be a very pleasant, affectionate, cuddly house guest. This past weekend she explored boat wreckage in the Outer Banks. Now she is preparing for the BREW adoption day this weekend in Bristow, VA, where she hopes to find her forever home!
21 OCTOBER 2014: Macie continues to wait for her forever home by constantly wagging her tail, playing with her toys and chasing her foster beagle sis around the yard. Her favorite toy is a stuffed hammerhead shark (see pic!).

5 OCTOBER 2014: Macie has been with us for two weeks and continues to impress. She has kept her crate clean and has not had any accidents in the house. She gets along well with our beagles and cats. She does like to chew and we sometimes need to remind her to limit that to her toys. She is extremely friendly and enjoys having her ears or belly rubbed. Macie also travels well in the car.
Macie is a 2- to 3-year-old female beagle who will be available for adoption after her vetting is completed. She is friendly and good with other dogs but was a stray in Amelia, Virginia, so her history is unknown.
