Rosie's Story...
Rosie is a sweet 4 month old pit puppy with a gorgeous brindle coat. She does really well in her kennel and is very quiet, especially for a puppy! Rosie was rescued from a high kill shelter in Georgia and is eagerly awaiting her forever home! She gets along really well with other dogs and loves human attention! She is current on all vaccines, has been dewormed and will be heart worm tested soon. We will also have her spayed when she is 6 months of age.

Our adoption process begins with you meeting Rosie. Feel free to schedule a play date with her and your existing pets. After you fill out an application, we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well, we will deliver Rosie to you for a small adoption fee. You will also have the option to purchase a wire kennel for an additional fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract. We will also do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to insure that Rosie is adjusting well to her new home and that she is happy and healthy.

We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting, bait dogs, and/or dog sales. We only have our rescue dogs' best interests in mind and we do everything we can to insure that they go to the very best home and that it's the perfect fit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Bryan Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bryan, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Bryan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bryan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bryan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bryan paves the way for another one to be saved.
