Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sophie! This little girl is nothing but love and happiness! Sophie is some sort of mixed breed dog, but we're not entirely sure what she is...Pit, Collie, Lab?? Your guess is as good as ours! Sophie was rescued from a high-kill shelter in GA and is looking for her new forever home. She is about 9-12 months old and gets along really well with other dogs. Sophie is heart worm negative and up to date on all vaccines. She's such a fun dog and would make such a great addition to any family!
Our adoption process begins with you meeting Sophie. Feel free to schedule a play date with her and your existing pets. After you fill out an application, we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well, we will deliver Sophie to you for a small adoption fee. You will also have the option to purchase a wire kennel for an additional fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract. We will also do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to insure that Sophie is adjusting well to her new home and that she is happy and healthy.
We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting, bait dogs, and/or dog sales. We only have our rescue dogs' best interests in mind and we do everything we can to insure that they go to the very best home and that it's the perfect fit.
