Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This Beautiful mostly Lab Retriever(?) girl was found to be HEARTWORM POSITIVE.......IF you can sponsor Ashton (female) for her veterinary heart worm treatment - she and Us would be sincerely grateful! This girl was found at a rural Ohio dog shelter which captured her as a stray --- with OLD spay sutures still intact...uugghh.. After a short period in the dog shelter, her time expired and she was on the euthanasia list when Dogworks agreed to accept her into rescue. We believe this young adult to be Either Lab Retriever or Golden Retriever mixed with Possibly American Bulldog... NICE ! laid back girl, very sweet and friendly. Pretty color of blonde with some white, medium length coat. Ashton weighs 52 pounds and needs to gain a few. Age 2 -2 1/2yr. Has been fine meeting new dogs and seems good with children. Ashton with cats, we should know more after a few days in foster home. Needs work on leash walking -- doesn't pull, she stays too near walkers legs, crate trained and housebroke. We are still learning about Ashton. Adoption fee includes, Heartworm treatment, vaccine update, HW check and GI deworming. Adoption fee $160. For questions or application = www.DogworksOhio.com
