Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Waldo! I am a one and a half year-old, male, Basenji/Chihuahua mix, about 15 lbs. and full of life! I have lived with one forever family that loved me very much and I loved them more which caused me to be overly protective of them! I am in a foster home now and I am feeling less anxious because I don’t have the stress of having to protect my mom and dad all of the time! I am learning what it is like to be a dog, walk and not be carried all of the time, have to follow rules and not be allowed to be bossy or overly vocal!
I am in a home with a BIG dog, a nine year-old and a teenager. We all get along great. I would do best in a home where I know what the rules are and someone is willing to put in the time to do training. I know the basic “stuff” already! I am alert, energetic, curious and sometimes aloof but I fall in love with you quickly. Think of all of the fun we could have as spring comes! I am neutered, vaccinated, and ready to meet you!
