Tyson's Story...
We are still getting to know this 8-week-old boy, but we're learning that he loves to cuddle up on your lap to take a snooze, enjoys playing with other dogs, is super curious, and is already doing well with his house training. He hasn't been exposed to cats, but since he's so young, he'll most likely learn to get along in any family he joins. We aren't sure what breed he is, but we're thinking Boxer mix, and from the picture alone, a couple people thought a little bit of Saint Bernard might be mixed in. Please come meet this puppy to see if he might be a good fit for your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyson, a Woodland Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Woodland, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Woodland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodland paves the way for another one to be saved.
