My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pictured here is Yukon, who took a 14-hour drive from Northern Quebec where he was slated to be shot to come to Kiko. Yukon appears to be mostly Yellow Lab with a dash of Husky, about 2 years old, and weighs in at 70 pounds. He adapted very well to the other three dogs at the foster home and is clean in the house. While likely not used to being on leash, the foster reports that Yukon is very polite and does not pull much at all. Yukon has been to the vet for his exam, vaccinations, heartworm test and neutering, and has a clean bill of health. This friendly dog will make a great family pet! We are very grateful that we were able to take Yukon in on short notice, and give him the chance of a life he so deserves.

All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for heartworm, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 ($275 for senior dogs and $125 for cats) and an adoption contract.
