Lucca's Story...
Meet Lucca who is beautiful like the city of light atop the foot hills above Pisa. His coat rich in color like the wine and roof tops under the Tuscan sun. His spirit soars like the great works and sounds of Puccini. Like the plays and sounds of opera he is definitely a little complicated, but yet pleasant in every way. He encompasses great potential with guidance, some training and TLC. Lucca is fine around other dogs and we will soon see how he is with cats. He is a young dog estimated at ten months old or slightly under the age of one year. He has mastered the sit command and of course still in need of more training. He has exemplified amounts of energy and one wonders where it comes from and where yours has gone. He does know when it’s time to unwind and that will get better with consistency and discipline. He seems to already be fine with the crate and sleeps well through the night. He is not much of a barker, but does prefer to have you close. Lucca like the town will be perfect as his beauty with a little work.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucca, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
