Thomas's Story...
This is lovely Thomas, between 1.5~2yrs old, 12 pounds.
This boy is playful, loves to socialized with other doggies (big and small). He walks great on leash. Not food aggressive.
He is cautious when he meets someone for the first time, but after few minutes he goes back to his confident self!
Thomas will need housetraining to transition to become an indoor/outdoor doggy, he currently lives outdoors with other foster doggies, has a cozy doggy house and a big yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thomas, a San Diego Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
