April's Story...
Name: April
Breed: Yellow Lab/Brittany mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Female

April showers bring..... April the dog! She is hoping for spring to really come to MN, but in the meantime she is making the best of the weather anyways. That's the sort of dog she is, makes the best out of any situation and is always cheerful. April is 9 months old with chocolate drop eyes and a Bart Simpson smile. She weighs 30 lbs, and is very happy and sweet. She loves to play with other dogs, but after play time she loves to snuggle. She's 100% potty trained and has never had an accident. Crated for workday and bedtime. She is respectful of cats and her foster's senior dog, and she holds her own with a 60lb male pit bull whom she adores! April wants a home with an active owner or a playful dog and would do best with someone who also loves to cuddle her after playing. Being a puppy, she gets bursts of energy, but is fully capable of entertaining herself with bones and toys.  She is super smart and treat motivated so will thrive in training. She's also eager to please her people. Please email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

April, a Minneapolis Labrador Retriever/Brittany dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Brittany for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Brittany dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Brittany breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Brittany rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
