Flower's Story...
Flower is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 1-25-08 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date. As of this Month, Flower is still at the shelter in need of rescue.

This pretty young lady is around 1 to 2 years old, is Large/Medium in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, she appears to be a very sweet & loving little girl, happy, full of love & fun, pretty well mannered, mellow yet playful, gentle nature and is a special girl that is in need of a family to love.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Flower's mouth, pulling on her ears and tail, holding her paw and giving her a little kiss and hug. Flower appeared to past the test with no problems, she very gentle with me and loved to be touch, a real sweetheart with me. Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Flower to play and be safe in. We feel she may make an outstanding & loving companion who may love going on daily walks or jogs. If you wish, Flower can be tested around Dogs & Cats here at the shelter

Act quickly to adopt Flower. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flower, a Grass Valley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
