Meet Mobie!! He is a happy boy with lots of energy. He rubs up against you for attention. He will nuzzle you to get a scratch on the head and make little noises while you rub him. He likes to cuddle too. He will play with squeaky toys and sometimes a ball. He puts elbows down and butt in the air. This is a dog's signal to play. He will engage other dogs to play and he likes to roll around in the grass. Mobie was a stray who went to someone's house looking for care. He will look up at you with puppy dog eyes and stare out of the kennel for attention. he would love a family especially with kids. He has too much energy for a senior though. He is a playful boy. If he sounds like your kind of dog fill out an adoption application.
If you would like to adopt Mobie, please contact Stephanie at doubledogrescuestephanie@gmail.com
Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
