Coco's Story...
Say hello to one-year old doxie, Coco. He's had a bit of a rought time in his one year, takes time to get to know you. Once he does, he likes nothing better than cuddling with her person. Coco would do best as an only dog or with a laid back female canine friend and a doxie savvy owner who can insure Coco that life is good. Coco is a beautiful tweeny doxie of 17 lbs. You will note his striking and unusual coloring known as sable with black overlay. Coco is now interviewing forever home applicants! Coco's adoption fee is $300 to help with his vetting costs and support rescue efforts.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Andalusia Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Andalusia, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Andalusia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Andalusia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Andalusia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Andalusia paves the way for another one to be saved.
