Daddy Kitty (Bruno)'s Story...
A special Pair:

Meet Daddy Kitty and Birdie. Daddy Kitty (also known as Bruno) was a stray, living a hard life outside. Birdie was a young kitten who was terrified when she first arrived, so much so that she wouldn't eat and wasn't thriving very well. We nursed her back to health and have been working with her on her ability to trust people. Birdie has become very attached to Daddy Kitty; she follows him, cuddles with him, relies on him for support. Daddy kitty is very friendly, extremely playful and talkative. Birdie is still learning to trust and to like people's attention, and she relies on Daddy kitty's presence to feel safe. We would love to see these two find a home together, where Daddy Kitty can get all the attention he craves and still be with his little girl Birdie, who so desperately needs a stable, loving, and patient home. We feel that if Birdie has her "daddy", she will transition so much better into her forever home. Please give us a call for more information about this sweet duo. 509-684-1475
Adoption fee for the pair: $40.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daddy Kitty (Bruno), a Colville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
