Jasmine's Story...
Jasmine is a sweet 1 year old all white little girl. She was born in to our of SEVEN surprise kittens! Her mama came to us from Chicago Animal Care and Control after another rescue saved her previous litter and left her to die! She apparently was picked up freshly pregnant. She is now spayed and will no longer have to worry about being unwanted or having babies!

Jasmine is playful, sweet, and loving. She is great with people of all ages, dogs, and other cats.

Jasmine's adoption fee is $125 and covers up to date vaccines, up to date deworming, spay, and microchip. Her litter was tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

If you are interested in Jasmine, please contact us at for more info. Please note, we do not have a building, so there are no "viewing hours". Please email for an application as our volunteers may not be able to return your call promptly. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine, a Oak Lawn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oak Lawn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Oak Lawn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Lawn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Lawn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Lawn paves the way for another one to be saved.
