Polly*URGENT*'s Story...
Polly is a Sheltered Kitty Cat:
adoption date is 9-13-07 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date. As of this Month, this kitty is still at the shelter in need of rescue.

Polly was extremely shy and frightened of her surroundings when she was
brought to the shelter, but things have improved, she is more relaxed
now sharing an enclosure with Xavier & Sara, her shelter cat friends that
give her comfort. Polly is a gentle cat that needs someone who will give
her all the time and patience she needs to relax in a new home, she needs to be
placed as an indoor only pet in an adult home without dogs. Given time
Polly just might be the lap cat and companion that will win your heart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polly*URGENT*, a Grass Valley Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
