Kayla's Story...
M13-195
Kayla is a shy, pretty little color point Siamese X tabby lady about 18 months old, rescued from some bad circumstances and fostered with a houseful of kitties and a single woman foster mom. She hasn't had a lot of exposure to other people or dogs or small children, and her new local foster home is teaching her more about Real Life. Soon she will meet some older grandchildren. Since we don't know her past, we know she will need a patient, loving new home with humans who understand that life can sometimes be scary. Although technically a color point, she has other markings typical of the Seal Point Siamese suggesting a parent with strong Siamese ancestry. Kayla is negative for FIV/FELV, has had all her shots, and is offered as an INSIDE ONLY kitty. We will want to place her carefully with pet parents who can offer her quiet time, peace and opportunity to become the happy beauty she was intended to be. Watch for her at PetSmart sometime in March, or if you'd enjoy a meet and greet sooner, please drop us an email or call our local volunteer at 208-543-6193.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kayla, a Buhl Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Buhl, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Buhl.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buhl already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buhl breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buhl paves the way for another one to be saved.
