My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

June is a 4 year old 80 pound Shepherd/ Great Dane mix who was found abandoned in a back yard along with her brother Johnny and an older dog called "Gramps." They all survived together back there after their previous owners had passed away. June lived outside through all of this cold weather and storms with just a small garage as shelter. June is a beautiful sweet girl. She is so loyal and will follow you from room to room looking at you with her sweet thankful eyes. June loves to give hugs and wrap her front paws around you and nuzzle her head into your chest. She had missed human interaction for such a long time she now doesn't want to go without. She is completely house trained and walks great on a leash right next to your side with slack. She can be left out when owners are not home and is completely trustworthy. She is great with other dogs, can be a little dominant but loves the company of others. She also doesn’t seem to mind cats and is tolerable with kids, just needs to be around them more. She is so thankful to have this second chance at life and we are looking for a forever home for her with someone who will give her all of the love she can get and keep her safe and warm inside. She is scared of thunderstorms, probably from experiencing so many outside on her own, so needs that extra comfort when she is nervous. She is very close to her brother Johnny for they were all each other had for awhile and when he is not around she is a little more nervous and timid but she is doing great!! If you would like a well trained, 80 pound sweetheart girl, please give June a chance. In just one meeting you will be in love with her. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
