Meet Taylor! Taylor is a sweet little girl. She loves people and will follow them all over. She will nuzzle you for a pet and rub up against your legs. She is a super cuddler. When Taylor wags her tail her whole butt wiggles with it. She makes adorable little noises when you scratch her in just the right place. She loves to play with other dogs and will engage them to play with her. She likes to roll in the grass too. Taylor knows basic commands, sit/lay down, and will do them on command. She is a gentle little love bug. She just wiggles all over when she sees someone coming with the thought of getting pets on her mind. Does Taylor sound like a dog for your family? She would be great with kids because she doesn't mind her tail or ears being pulled on. Fill out an adoption application. She deserves a nice forever home.
If you would like to adopt Taylor, please contact Susan at sassynpeaceful@gmail.com
Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
