Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATE 11/9/13: Hershey was adopted again in May 2011 and was a happy dog till his dad moved to an apt and then Hershey became so unhappy when his dad was at work that he made the apartment complex almost kick his dad out! His dad did not understand Hershey's unhappy bad behavior and thought he was just being unappreciative of all he did for him and the walks he took him on. Poor Hershey, he was saying, the only way he knew how, that he needed a YARD, FRIENDS and more excitement in his life and that he was just plain MISERABLE there. So Hershey came back today... again. Misunderstood and sad he cries at the gate nonstop for his 'dad' so sad he could not explain things better to him.
Hershey needs a home with things to do and people to meet and play with, other dogs to keep him company and a soft bed or sofa to cuddle with those he loves. That's all he wants.. oh and food and treats too.. he is a beagle after all you know! LOL
As soon as he stops mourning the loss (again) of someone he loves, he will be looking for YOU! Are you ready to be loved, entertained, and kept from being bored this long cold winter to come? Hershey is your dude!
Hershey is a wonderful chocolate young beagle who loves to run and play and watch tv with you. He does need crated when you are gone for the day but does very well in a crate. Hershey has recently shown he is actually good with older kids, some cats and most other dogs, Hershey is an all around GREAT dog who just came from a home who loved him but could not crate him. He is just full of love and action and needs a home who will play with him a lot and love him even more!
Hershey is very very sad and unhappy being back at the rescue and cries all the time to come back in the house. He is so confused and depressed. Please come save Hershey again! We will supply the crate! He needs you!
