My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JUDY IS IN A TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME TO RECOVER FROM HER SPAY AND TUMOR REMOVALS! Still waiting on her forever home!

Due to their condition and age, weakened from tick disease, walking on long twisted nails, suffering miserably infected ears, Judy and her mate Ross were scheduled to be euthanized at the local shelter. Once rescued, it was discovered they were totally infected with tick disease and heartworms. And from there, it just got worse. Kennel cough, from their shelter stay, gripped their weakened bodies so hard it dropped them to their knees for weeks as it totally consumed what little strength they had left and took away almost all the breath they were fighting so hard to keep. It should have been the end, but it wasn’t as their strong will and determination, once again, pulled them through.

Today, ears healed, nails clipped, tick disease eliminated, strong medication, good food and amazing supplements in their systems, their eyes are bright and shining, coats are soft and smooth and tails are always a waggin' - despite poor Judy still carrying around heavy hanging, baseball sized mammary tumors from her tiny little belly.

Undergoing the 'slow method' heartworm treatment, both Judy and Ross desperately need foster homes in order to continue to heal so they can finally be altered and the heavy mammary tumors removed from Judy's belly, THEN they can FINALLY be adopted into wonderful loving homes for the first time in their little lives.

Sweet and loving, happy and silly, you can't help but LOVE LOVE LOVE these two tiny little creatures and your heart goes out to them making you want to help them in any way you can. Come see Judy and Ross. Come see their lively spunky loving little souls and do what you can to help them too! They are seeing the world for the very first time and it warms your heart. Take them home to foster and warm their hearts as well. They so so need it.
