Sumi loves nothing more than human attention and rolling over for belly rubs. She is wonderful with children, even the littlest ones as she lived with them and showed ultimate tolerance and patience. She has athletic energy but knows how to chill at home when it’s down time. Sumi is housebroken, proved to be non-destructive when home alone and she is not a barker…unless you are a stranger approaching her home and then she shows her protective side. She knows her basic commands and other commands such as up, outside or out, inside, over there (when we want her to move away from an area),"uh-uh" (means no) and she also rings a bell when she wants to go outside to go potty.
She is confident and likes to be the boss of other dogs. She is more tolerant with smaller dogs and lives with a little Yorkie. An experienced owner with good leadership skills would be best. Sumi is a family dog; she lived with a family and is now in need of a new one.
Sumi is not at BRLA and advanced arrangements are required to set up a meeting with her. If you are interested in meeting Sumi and willing to possibly do so at a remote location please ask for Sumi by name on your application.
