Toby's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Toby's Story...
I am a male Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix). I was born on 8/25/13. I am neutered, heartworm negative, current on shots, micro-chipped and on flea/heartworm prevention. My adoption is $300.

I was given up by my owner who did not have time for me. I was originally purchased from a puppy store for $1,200!

Since I am just a puppy, it is a requirement that I attend training classes at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs (NO EXCEPTIONS as to location OR requirement, so please do not ask!). Classes are one hour, once a week, for six weeks. The cost is $89 for all six weeks!

Please email for an application. A New Beginning Pet Rescue, Inc. only accepts cash. We do not have the ability to accept credit or debit cards and no longer accept checks. The pets are available to be seen at our adoption events on weekends at the Petsmart in Altamonte Springs on Saturday from 11-4:30 and Sunday from 12-4:30.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toby, a Orlando Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Maltese/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
