Hello, my name is Rocky.
My foster family calls me "Rock Star" or little "Lemon Drop". I am a 9 year old Lemon Beagle and foster mom thinks I am the cutest 23 pound little snuggly dude.
One of my favorite things to do is just cuddle with you on the coach with my favorite blanket. I like to sit right next to you. I must have been loved, and part of a family before I was found as a stray down state in this freezing cold winter. I have good house manners. I am not food aggressive. I have not gotten into the garbage, and I am past the "puppy chewing" stage. I'm just a laid back sweet boy. I am totally house broken. I go into my crate to nap, but the door is open so I can come and go. I have earned the run of the house for my good behavior. Foster mom say's, I'm a complete gentleman.
I do get along with everyone I have met: dogs, cats, all people. I love my walks and I walk at a nice pace. I just enjoy life.
I do have my "spunky" times. I have a few foster siblings. One big guy who has a big mouth, I just ignore him. Then there are two other Beagles here. I like to wrestle with the one that is almost 3 years old. He is a HOOT. We wrestle for a while and really get into it. I would be good with another dog, or be an only dog. Just would like to have company most of the time. I am quiet, foster mom has only heard me bark once when I was playing.
Being about 9 years old, I am one healthy guy. I am calm, but also like to have my fun time. I did have several teeth pulled when I was rescued by BREW and I feel so much better now. One thing the vet did tell us is that I do have a slight heart murmur. Nothing big but just something to be aware of.
I am really a great sweet guy just looking for a forever family that wants me to warm their laps in the evening. I will walk with you, play with you and relax with you. I have the warmest brown eyes that make foster mom just melt.
