Carmen's Story...
This wonderful girl is Carmen. She was found by a home health nurse tied to a cancer patients porch. Poor Carmen is such a good girl and should not have been done that way. We think she is a Shepherd mix just over a year old. Carmen is around 45 to 50 pounds. She is in need of love and attention from a family who will adore her. Carmen likes to run and play with other dogs. She walks on leash and is crate trained. Carmen will also sit on command. This girl is just longing for someone to love her. Please give her a loving forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmen, a Centerville Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Centerville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Centerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Centerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Centerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Centerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
