My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Coco – Needs Foster or Adopter ASAP!

NOTE: All inquiries please email: pets.katrina@gmail.com
This dog is temporarily boarded in the San Rafael area. Transport to the Sac/Davis area can be arranged for an approved adopter or foster.

Coco is a handsome brown and white male Lab/Aussie mix that is about 2 years old. He was brought to a high kill shelter in Socal and was all skin and bones! He obviously had a tough life! Despite that, it was obvious he is a special sweet boy and he passed his temperament test with a solid B+, which sure is not bad for a dog that was obviously neglected and STARVED!

This boy deserves his second chance at a better life so we helped rescue him from the Socal shelter. He is currently in temporary boarding but he needs a suitable foster or permanent home ASAP. He is now doing well gaining weight and is adjusting to his new life.

He is still a bit uncertain about meeting new people and new situations, and also shows some herding tendencies. He would do best with an experienced owner that understands herding breeds and also can help him overcome his fears and learn to feel secure in his surroundings. He would also likely be best suited to a more rural lifestyle, rather than busy city life.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Coco and giving him a new lease on life please contact us.
